The design is similar with the playing area mounted on the side of a train cart. The original red wooden panelled train gave way to a darker one. The old gang is back, comprising some of the best criminals the Wild West has ever seen. Meet the 'Collector,' the 'Payer,' the 'Sniper,' and the 'Necromancer.' These are brilliantly illustrated characters representing the top-paying symbols. The developer's creativity even extends to the 4 bottom-paying playing card suit symbols, forged from metal and painted in a distinct colour.
Relax Gaming went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that the soundtrack mirrored the darker artwork.
A cosmetic enhancement over the original is the spin mechanic. Rather than 5 synchronized spinning reels like most online slots, each of the 15 spaces spins asynchronously like 15 reels.
The crossed shotgun image representing the wild in the original has been replaced by a cold, metallic skull. Un-like the original, it can create its own winning payline that rewards 0.80x, 4x or 20x total bet with 3, 4 or 5, re-spectively. A symbol marked 'Bonus' in sets of 2 anywhere on the playing area triggers the Respin feature. First, each of the bonus symbols reveals a multiplier, added together. What makes this feature so exciting is that you can't lose. If the respin is unsuccessful, another re-spin is awarded, and the multiplier value increases by +1. It can be exciting to watch the multiplier value grow, so winning too quickly is not ideal.
An even more exciting feature is called the Money Cart Bonus Round, triggered by 3 or more bonus symbols or 'Persistent' symbols that also act as bonus symbols. Each triggering bonus symbol awards 3 free spins and dis-plays a bet multiplier. Each triggering 'Persistent' symbol reveals its action before the first spin. An additional reel (up to 2 reels) is unlocked by filling a reel with symbols. If every possible position is occupied by a symbol (including the two extra reels), a 500x bet prize is rewarded.
