Hungarian acrobatic team FACE TEAM show off their skills:
The story behind this amazing team of acrobats started in 2003 when Áron Takács won the NIKE basketball freestyle battle. With a reputation and a little inspiration, Takács formed FACE TEAM and started to train tricks that nobody had ever attempted before.
What began as a team of basketball acrobats has morphed into taken in a variety of different sports and disciplines. This epic video was organised and shot by the ever epic, Devin Supertramp. The man himself seems to be behind just about all the epic adrenaline fuelled viral masterpieces on YouTube and I can’t wait for the next one.
The challenge: Skate down Kloof Street in Cape Town and set off the 60km/h speed camera.
Although unconfirmed it was rumoured that the skater got up to speeds of around 110km/h on the busy main road. The man in the video is high speed downhill skateboarder Decio Lourenco and we salute him for his balls of steel.
The video went viral almost immediately and caught the attention of local authorities who went on to charge Lourenco with negligent and reckless road behaviour. In addition, the poor guy in the chase car received a substantial fine for speeding.
The case against Lourenco was however dropped when it was ruled that the police could not use the video as evidence against the skater. Officially the ruling stated that the court was unable to determine whether or not the video had been tampered with.
The story goes that it all started when two girls’ realised that they had never been punched in the face before and that they would probably look good with black eyes. The video below is what followed:
Firstly, there is absolutely no mention of alcohol which means they were probably stone cold sober? Pain and the ability to stand pain seems to be a challenge too great for even most girls to pass up.
The gauntlet set down by the girls was however, not met as neither managed to sprout that infamous black eye. An update from the man behind the camera revealed that although there was initially some swelling the sought after black eyes never made an appearance.
Personally I have to give these girls some credit for taking the punches like a man, and dealing out some pretty decent right crosses. What do you think?
The place is Wagoner County, Oklahoma and the prank? Oh honey I’m pregnant!
Tori Wheeler decided to play an April Fools prank on her boyfriend by telling him she was pregnant. It seems that the creativity of April first pranks has been grossly reduced to something that only vaguely resembles a prank.
Needless to say, Wheeler was less than impressed with this sudden turn of events and proceeded to get a little upset. This should have been where it ended, but Wheeler wasn’t having any of that and decided to counter her boyfriend’s reaction by threatening him with a knife.
Let’s take a moment to let that sink in…
The situation then continued to escalate and although details following this point are few and far between, the net result was Wheeler’s boyfriend had his neck cute as well as being bitten twice.
The boyfriend is expected to make a full recovery and Wheeler? She has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Devin Graham, aka Devin Super Tramp is not just an adrenaline junkie, he’s THE adrenaline junkie. His latest viral video, “World’s Largest Rope Swing” has amassed over 20,000,00 views on YouTube. This is one that you definitely need to have a look at…
Not only does he pull the 400-foot free fall off perfectly, but he manages to film it in perfect HD quality from every possible angle. This then is the perfect combination of an act of shear awesomeness/stupidity within the perfect YouTube framework. This video was a sure thing to go viral and it has not disappointed!
Although this is by far his most successful video, the Super Tramp has close to 200 million views on his YouTube channel. This however is not stupid people being stupid, this is professional adrenaline junkies performing amazing feats of extreme sport.
As for the “World’s Largest Rope Swing”? Sign me up, I’m ready to jump! What about you?
A friend of mine once said that YouTube is there for two things: videos of cats and for stupid people to document their stupidity.
The newest viral craze is “The Knife Game Song” and seems to be taking hold faster than the Harlem Shake! Note, the faint of heart may want to skip the video and move straight on.
The original video was uploaded by a Rusty Cage, who is also credited with writing the song and therefore as the creator and instigator of the viral “Knife Game Song”. The game involves a hand spread out on a wood surface while the participant tries to land the knife in between the outstretched fingers without hitting them, while singing the “Knife Game Song”. The lyrics of the song are as follows:
Oh, I have all my fingers, the knife goes chop chop chop!
If I miss the spaces in between, my fingers will come off,
and if I hit my fingers, the blood will soon come out!
But all the same, I play this game, cause that’s what it’s all about!
Oh, CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP
I’m picking up the speed and if I hit my fingers then my hand will start to bleed!
I can’t help but think that it is a challenge that needs attempting but my love of my fingers and fear of blood is sure to keep me away from this one. What do you think?
